Puppies Laying Around

All the puppies are doing great. They are growing quick. We will be removing the dewclaws tonight. The dewclaws are located on the inside of the front paws. The reason we remove the claws on our pups is that sometimes later in life the pups will catch them and tear them, they also are very sharp, and if the dog jumps on someone or child they can scratch or even cut a person. So we remove them when the pups are less then a week old. We will take siscors and just snip them off and then use some sceptic powder on them to stop the bleeding that does happen. I will try to get some pictures of up doing it tonight and post it.
